Compassionate Care in Relationship to Place and Purpose

I come to this work with the understanding that your pregnancy will be ripe with its own story. Your birth is a massive, unknown event, and for most people, it is incredibly overwhelming. I strive to bring clarity and ease to your birth planning and education, aware that we may move within different positionalities, and to tailor the experience to your own vision. I'm here to help you engage with this brief time in your life, knowing that a birth will always be unique. May it bring whatever is needed for your individual transformation at this time on Earth.

About Brette (She/Her)

San Francisco/Ramaytush Ohlone Land is where I call home with my daughter and husband. In my free time, you can find me listening to or attending live music, engaging in my daughter's school activities, and supporting local small businesses. I am committed to reproductive justice, liberatory activism, and the Land Back movement. Hopefully, my time here will be remembered by the quality of my relationships and the care I extend within our communities.

My family has a deep connection to maternal storytelling, cyclical/lunar living, being mobile and outside, animist cosmology, wordplay and divine timing.

Music is our religion.

Fun Facts

Every year mid-December to mid-January, my family resides in Costa Rica on land we've nurtured for 15 years. Initially, owning foreign property wasn't in my plans, but I've since dedicated myself to the land, our local community, and our humble pursuits in beekeeping, birding, mycology, and becoming fluent in Spanish.
